Association of Health Administration Students

The Association of Health Administration Students, or AHAS, represents all students enrolled in programs within Dalhousie University’s School of Health Administration. AHAS aims to promote the professional and academic interests of all members, act as a liaison between faculty, students, alumni and local contacts, and promote fellowship among members through its broad participation in student governance.

AHAS achieves these goals by holding various events throughout the year, including professional networking opportunities, healthcare lectures and panel discussions, as well as community involvement activities and fundraisers.  AHAS also acts as a social activity planning body for the School of Health Administration.

AHAS Executive & Representative members represent Health Administration students at various Dalhousie and health professional association councils including the Dalhousie Association of Graduate Students and The Canadian College of Health Leaders, among others.

As every registered part-time and full-time student of the school is a member of AHAS, we encourage all students to attend our bi-weekly meetings held at the school.
Up to date information for students can be found on the AHAS Blackboard site, accessible to students using their OWL user name and password (direct link in left panel).
