The School of Health Administration prepares individuals to assume a diversity of leadership roles in both the private and public health sector. The School offers the only Diploma and Masters Program in Health Administration in Atlantic Canada, a Masters Program in Applied Health Services Research and the unique Diploma in Emergency Health Services Management.
A particular feature of the School is its location in Atlantic Canada, providing faculty and students with relatively open access to senior officials at local, regional and provincial levels.The School has the Professional Advisory Council which is comprised of six Presidents & CEOs of major health centres and health districts, as well as the Deputy Minister of Health and Deputy Minister of Health Promotion & Protection. The School is a full member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration, and holds longstanding memberships with Canadian European agencies.
